Kanal A is the second most-watched TV program. Besides an informative program (not as frequent as on POP TV or the national program), Kanal A focus is on movies, series and sports transmissions.
Planet TV is a program for all ages. It consists of informative program, sports and entertainment show (films and own production). It reaches an audience from 18 to 64 of age.
Pop TV is the biggest commercial TV program in Slovenia and first overall in terms of the rankings. Its prime time is the daily informative program 24UR – it is broadcasted several times a day. POP TV also produces many of its own TV shows, series and reality shows. It is considered as one of the most recognized and trusted brands in the country.
SportKlub is a series of sports programs with direct broadcasts of sports events – football, basketball, handball, tennis, golf and others. Their primetime are games of the Champions league which attract up to 14% of all the viewers.
The second program is dedicated to sports content (which has some of the highest ratings), re-runs and films. In comparison to Prvi program the second program also attracts a younger audience group aged 30+.
The first program of the national TV (Prvi program) provides daily news throughout the day, sports and weather reports, weekly info shows as well as a plethora of entertainment shows. It also broadcasts shows for the Italian and Hungarian minorities. The program is popular among older generations which consists of people aged 50 and more. Their viewers are interested (more than the average) in financial services, foreign policy, arts and are more aware of healthy diet.
TV3 is a smaller commercial TV station. Its own program consists of an informative program, specialized shows (entertainment, dance), talk shows and sports transmissions (NBA and Formula one events). TV3 target group are Slovenian speakers between 16 and 64 of age.
